  • For the Mass

    Liturgical Committee:  Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers ( see “Committees”)


    Usher/Basket Collectors


    Welcoming Greeters:  Welcome parishioners & guests and help with parish questions


    Music Ministry:  Regular musicians & groups that provide music for liturgical services.


    Funeral Service:  select group of individuals trained to serve with care at funeral masses.

  • For the Community

    Parish Nurse Ministry:  Basic healthcare & natural family planning.


    Stephen Ministries:  Grief, Crisis & Illness counseling support.


    Homebound & Hospital visits:  Please inform the Parish Office if a loved one is unable to attend mass and would like a visit or receive the Sacraments.


    Little Way Ministry:  Parishoners helping Parishoners in need (Illness, injury, accident, birth) - Provides meals, transportation, chore help.


    Martha’s Ministry/Bereavement Ministry:  To serve those who mourn the death of a loved one.  Assists funerals or other events with food and a smiling face.


    Prayer Shawl Ministry: To serve those who are experienceing difficultes and need extra prayers and comfort.  While Parishioners knit or crochet shawls, they pray for whomever will receive the shawl.  When the shawl is given, it is specifically blessed for that person's needs by Fr. Marcel or a Deacon.  The recipent does not need to be a parishioner, Catholic of even local.  Shawls have been mailed out of town and state when requested.  


    Seminarian Support Mininstry:  Serves the seminarians of our diocese with prayers, Mass intentions and small gifts of appreciation.  The following are mailed to each seminarian:  Letters of support and Mass intentions in September at the start of their school year.  Christmas cards with spiritual bouquets in December.  Homemade             cookies and other treats after Easter and prior to the beginning of finals, to give them extra love and sustenance during the long nights of study.   A card with $50 to the newly ordained transitional deacon(s) the last Saturday of May.  A card with $100 to the newly ordained priest(s) the first Saturday of June.                                           

                                                   

    Family Promise:  We are 2 of 13 rotating interfaith hosts that provide temporary housing & meals to homeless families .familypromiseofgreaterconcord.org

    Boy Scouts:  Supports local Troop #76 which meets in St Theresa Parish Hall.


    Local Food Pantries:  Drop-off donations at St Mary's or St Theresa's.
