MUSIC MINISTRY
There are regular musicians and groups that provide the music for liturgical
services . The choir rehearses on Thursday evening from 7:15 p.m. and sings
at the 8:00 a.m. Sunday Mass. Anyone interested in joining is always welcome.
A Praise and Worship Group has been formed for those interested in upbeat
praise and worship at Mass.
THE WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
Our Mission Statement: To serve our Lord as Mary did, by demonstrating his
love and kindness through spiritual devotion and acts of service. Our foremost
desire is to minister to the women of our parish, as well as to the entire parish
and communities in which we live.
The monthly business meetings for 2011-2012 will be held on the following
dates at 7:00pm in classroom #2: September 14 – October 12 – November 9
– January 11 – February 8 – March 14 - April 11 – May 9 – June 6
All women of the parish are invited to join this ministry. We offer a variety of
programs and outreach opportunities that include Bible studies, senior
luncheons, prayer for and encouragement to the seminarians of our diocese,
The Little Way ministry, preparing Thanksgiving baskets, a shawl ministry, a
craft evening and 2 fundraisers.
Check our bulletins in the hall by the classrooms for more information on what
we are doing. We welcome new ideas.

from Kindergarten to the eighth grade. We offer religious education and
preparation for the sacraments of First Communion and Reconciliation.
Youth Ministries are for grades 9-12 offering Social, Service and Spiritual
focus. The Confirmation program is for 10th graders and is offered as a six

If you are interested in enrolling your children or in volunteering to assist in one
of the many aspects of the program, please call the Parish Office, and leave a
message for the coordinator. New families are always welcomed. The
programs run from September to April.
R.C.I.A.—The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a journey of faith with the
purpose of preparing people who have expressed a desire to become
Catholic, for reception into the Catholic Church; for Catholics desiring to
receive one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation which they did not receive
at an earlier age, and for any person interested in learning more about the
Catholic Church. This journey of faith is based upon the process followed by
the early Church and covers all aspects of our faith; - history, traditions, beliefs,
practices, and rites.
